A New Day Is Dawning The Wooden Warriors and Armadillos survived the rugged BDCS to advance to Big Daddy Bowl XI for a title shot BLACK CREEK - No matter who wins the Big Daddy Bowl next week, we will have a new BDFL title holder to crown in 2012. In one corner will be the red hot Wooden Warriors who have won an unprecedented nine games in a row after starting the season 0-7. Unbelievable, unless you look to the other corner and you see the league's highest point total team is the rookie Armadillos who have won back-to-back overtime games to advance to the finals of the BDCS. In what will be a grudge match between two old college classmates, this one should be a classic for the ages. Kawliga's Creeks advanced by defeating the mighty Mayors 38-36 in a thriller, while the Texas Armada barely floated by the Fightin' Slovaks in an overtime squeaker that set the BDCS back a decade. Big Daddy Bowl XI: I Feel A Good One Coming On The hours at the Hermitage Cafe in Nashville are M-Sun. 10p to 1:30p. That ought to tell you something about this place. Near Captain Ryman's old mansion site and just around the corner from where Iron worked on Rutledge Hill for five years, the Cafe is an American classic. A true roadside diner. This place was country and cool before Barbara Mandrell was a baby. Anybody that is anybody has eaten there, but that isn't what makes it special. It's the food and feeling you get when you're there. Featured in videos from Bon Jovi to Blackberry Smoke, it is a must when in town. |
