The Wooden Warriors are the hottest team in the BDFL and are on the verge of the biggest turnaround in league history

BLACK CREEK -  When the Wounded Warriors were 0-7 they could have folded their tee pees and packed for Gulf Shores, but Kawliga wouldn't have it. You see, Two Out Ball Clubs are built to play their best when all the odds are against them. With their backs to the wall, Kawliga delivered one of the most inspirational pep talks since Mr. McAnnally's memorable Indians Pony League pep talk. Kawliga told his Warriors, "Right now boys with the way we are playing, we couldn't beat our $#%&."  He went on to say, "Our roster is better than our record" and emphasized, "If we believe in each other and everybody does their job, we can turn this massacre around." They have handled a permanent Pucker Factor for six straight weeks and stand tall at 6-7 with only one win away from a prestigious BDCS bid. If completed, this will be one of the biggest stories in BDFL history.

An evolving playoff qualifying formula makes the BDCS unique Back in the day when the BDFL consisted of 7-8 teams, the highest point total won the title and all was fine. Then came 1997 and the infamous "Tainted Title" when the Bullets were awarded the title with a losing record. Something had to change. Next you had to have a winning record to win it. Then came expansion, divisions, two rounds of playoffs, now three rounds, the BDCS, the BMS and in the process, the most unique formula in all of sports to qualify and win a title evolved in the BDFL. Now you must have at least a 7-7 record after Week 14 and you must win your division to automatically qualify for four of the eight BDCS slots. The last four slots are for the best point totals with winning records.
