Here comes the Armadillos

The new Duncanville Armadillos and the old Western Hills Wildcats join the fray for the 2012 BDFL season

AUDUBON - Grave Diggers, Road Killers, Hoover Hogs, Poorman's Pigs, or Possums on the Half-Shell. It really doesn't matter what you call them, just don't call them late for a midnight diner in the middle of the road. With that disclaimer, the BDFL welcomes the 21st franchise in league history. From the Lone Star State by way of Tuscaloosa, Huntsville and Charlotte, comes the new Duncanville Armadillos for the 2012 season. Joined by the Western Hills Wildcats after a year long hibernation, the BDFL will be back to 16 teams and four divisions for this upcoming fall. The Armos will be headed up by Kurt Prewitt who has many ties to several of the existing BDFL members through his years at the University of Alabama, Harry's Bar and other credible establishments. For much is given, much is expected and the BDFL expects the Armadillos to be a model franchise.
