Just when you thought the Wooden Warriors might run the table, they get bushwhacked by the Juggernauts GARDENDALE – In the BDFL there is a parallel universe. The idea of a parallel universe has been around since Adam, but in the BDFL there is a team that personifies this reality and that would be the Black Creek Wooden Warriors and their parallel universe with the Florida State Seminoles. The similarities are unexplainable. Start with their colors, they are exactly the same. Then, their mascots both are Native American, the Noles and Poles. Both thrive in warm weather. Kawliga and Burt Reynolds. Bobby Bowden and Ed Bruce. Jaimie and Lee Corso. Heck, even Tallahassee translated in the Apalachee language means "trailer park". No, we are not making this stuff up, but rather exposing the facts. So when the Tribe got beat Sunday by the Rice Rockets, it was no real surprise since their brethren Warriors had already lost this season to Oklahoma, Clemson and Wake Forest meaning the Doo Doo Pumpers were due to lose at least three this year.

BDFL News ![]() BDFL Throwback Week 2012 is sure to be another classic Fresh off of Throwback Week 2011, the BDFL is looking to the future for Throwback Week 2012 where the league will play homage to the NFL teams that no longer exist where they once called home. Think of Johnny Unitas and the Baltimore Colts, Roman Gabriel and the Los Angeles Rams, Dan Pastorini and the Houston Oilers and Jim Hart of the St. Louis Cardinals. Dust off your old "Luv You Blue" t-shirt and join the BDFL for another great run down Memory Lane. |
