Fellow Gray Beard Division compadres win in the BDCS semi-finals to advance to Big Daddy Bowl IX

HAYDEN - The essence of the BDFL was on display this weekend when the Magic City Mayors and the Smoke Rise Woosiers locked horns in what could be described as the most important game of the season. There was email taunting and cyber space bulletin board material all week long leading up to this dramatic match-up, but like all BDFL games, this one was eventually settled between the lines after an unprecedented Tuesday Night Football game that featured the league’s best player (Michael Vick) coming up a little short. The Mayors finally had to pull out their patented "annex before you get annexed" policy to conquer Blount County's most cherished community in Smoke Rise. On the other side of the championship bracket, the Cheetahs "out sorried" the Wizards 17-11 to advance to the BDCS finals and will now get their shot at an unprecedented fourth BDFL title and the season-long rights to the 'ol helmet of silver Grand Daddy trophy.
