The Dixie Mafia is back! Led by a quasi Mississippi kingpin, the Delta Mistakes are back near the top of the BDFL after Week 1 WATSON, AL - There has been a lot of football played in these parts between the Fields, Cornelius, Hodges, McDuffie, Long, Hogeland, McCleney, Sanford, Keedy, Whitlock, Moore and Hand families over the years, but I don't think the locals have seen anything like this except maybe when Donald Graves hung 50 on Brookside on the blacktop at Mineral. Between the embarrassing Home Run Derby loss after the Elks Invitational at Hiller Park (where they give a trophy to the team that drinks the most beer, you can't make this stuff up) to the closing of their Italian restaurant front on Mullet Point, the Gambino crime family has been looking to unload on somebody and it just happened to be the Mineral Minutemen.
