Honoring the league's best Established first as the Column of Fame back in 2002 when the BDFL went online is now the BDFL Hall of Fame TITLETOWN - Entry into the BDFL's Hall of Fame is simple. Win a BDFL Championship title and you are enshrined. You can get in multiple times like the Cheetahs (4), PowerSleds (3), Gamblers (2), Wizards (2), Bullets (2), Sloth Monsters, Mayors, Woosiers, Grenadiers and the newly inducted Wooden Warriors who earned their spot in the Hall after the miracle run to the title in 2012. The only title that is permanently in question due to a flaw in the league's antiquated bylaws is Capital City's "tainted title" in 1997 which was awarded despite the Bullets having an overall losing record that season. This has been rectified at the league level and the infamous "Bullet Rule" is now in place to keep this injustice from ever happening again. Teams that have yet to make it into the BDFL's Hall of Fame are commonly referred to around the league as the "Null Set". |
