WATSON, AL - Back in 1977 when the foundation was being laid for the Gardendale football dynasty of the 80's, Butch Neal was a mentor to a young, impressionable 115 lb. Rocket defensive back from Fieldstown. Between lessons on Lynyrd Skynyrd, Panama City Beach and younger woman, the elder statesman taught the young lad some valuable lessons on football that are still relevant today...You play like you practice, conditioning is key and speed kills. So be careful who you help in life because one day they may come back and use it against you.

2014 has been a banner year for RICKA Rule moves

TITLETOWN - Over the last 20 years, the BDFL's RICKA Rule has had its share of poster children. From Lawrence Phillips in 1996 to Ricky Williams 2003-2007 and now Ray Rice in 2014. With the Rice ban and the Gordon suspension and the Bradford injury, this season has been a banner year for the rule with 12 RICKA Rule moves between Draft Night and Week #2 action. If you missed out on the RICKA Rule moves, don't worry. The annual one-round Supplemental Draft will take place after Week #7 games where you can drop one non-productive player and pick another from the undrafted.
