NFL Schedule NFL Injury Report The BDCS The BMS
Big Mullet Series (BMS)

Mullet is a useless, bottom-feeding, salt-water fish indigenous to the Gulf Shores, Alabama coastline area. It is the only fish with a gizzard and is said to possess mystical properties. The Striped or Black Mullet is a delicacy along the Northwest Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast. Many restaurants in those areas serve mullet as the mainstay of their menus. Fried mullet are the most popular. Smoked, baked, and canned mullet are also eaten. Mullet is usually filleted. The left over frames are often used to make excellent fish stock. The stock makes superb chowders, stews, and bouillabaisse. Mullet does not keep well after it is caught. If kept on ice it may remain edible for approximately 24 hours. If kept much longer it begins to loose its freshness and becomes nearly inedible. The sooner it can be eaten after being caught, the better. When shopping for mullet for consumption, choose only those fish with clear eyes. Cloudy eyes are indicators of loss of freshness. The teams in the Big Mullet Series are older than 24 hours and have lost their freshness hence the name of this fruitless competition.

Cyrus named the official spokesperson for the BDFL's Big Mullet Series

GULF SHORES - Here at the Flora-Bama today, the BDFL announced that county music singer and actor Billy Ray Cyrus from Flatwoods, Kentucky would be the official spokesperson for the BDFL's Big Mullet Series. Cyrus was the target and logical choice because of his southern roots, trend setting Mullet hairdo of the 1980s and the fact he logged many hours on the Gulf Coast as an entertainer and vacationer. Cyrus said, "I guess if Iron Hand won't give me a franchise in the BDFL, this is probably the next best thing".
