2008 BDFL Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) Update

FOXBORO - Upset City was the destination in Week 15 as three of the league's top seeds were abruptly knocked out of the BDCS championship bracket. Only the 2nd seeded Benton Bullets survived the onslaught. The upstart Fairfield PowerSleds, Smoke Rise Woosiers and Jugtown Juggernauts join the Bullets as the only teams left to battle it out for the 2008 BDFL title. In the secondary Big Mullet Series BMS, the Gamblers, Cheetahs, Dogs and Bootleggers all won and are alive for the league's second tier competition. Sleds draft homework pays big dividends as they stun the Wizards in the BDCS

PASCO CO. – "Pierre who?" was what he heard on draft night, but after the first round of the BDCS, it's the Fairfield PowerSleds who are having the last laugh. With Reggie Bush, Deuce McAllister and Aaron Stecker in an already crowded backfield, the obscure Thomas was an unlikely BDFL draft pick back in late August. However, the Sleds stuck to their war room notes in the draft's last rounds and selected the little known back from Illinois and boy did it pay off. The Frenchman provided the nine point winning margin as the Sledheads knocked off the top seeded Pasco County Wizards 30-21 in the Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) first round during Week 15 action. Others advancing to the BDCS semi-finals included the Woosiers, Juggernauts and Bullets.

Little known rusher Pierre Thomas from the French Quarter provided the strong arm needed for the PowerSleds to shock the Wizards in the first round of the BDCS
