Eddie Lacy wins the Pony of the Year

The Gamblers Eddie Lacy wins the BDFL's Pony of the Year Award

TITLETOWN - The Gamblers took Eddie Lacy in the 2013 Pony Draft and went on to lead the league in points. The PowerSleds picked Cam Newton in the 2013 Genuine Draft and won the BDFL title. This goes to show there is no loyalty when it comes to the BDFL and it proves that you better draft well, if you want to be in the title hunt. Last season, the Woosiers earned the first pick in the upcoming Pony Draft in late April by winning the 2013 Big Mullet Bowl. With a ton of talent in the 2014 rookie stable, who will land the stud for the next Pony of the Year.

2013 Big Mullet Bowl goes to the Smoke Rise Woosiers

GULF SHORES - In the BDFL, the regular season and a least seven wins means something. See the "Tainted Title" of 1997, or just ask the Woosiers, Mayors, Grenadiers and the five others negated to the league's consolation Big Mullet Series (BMS) this season. In the BDFL's battle for 9th place, the equivalent to the King of the Dipsticks, the Hayden Haymakers brought the most punch from a punchless "Bunch of Mullets" and in the process with a new incentive twist, secured the top draft pick in the annual Pony Draft in late April of 2014.
