The Progressive Priority Draft 2014

The BDFL launches a new draft in 2014 designed to make the draft process more enjoyable for all league members

TITLETOWN - The Progressive Priority Draft will devy up the 2014 talent pool based on how each team values each player and how much value they place on a particular player during this easy three step process. The key is to do what you are asked to do at the time you are asked to do it. There will be a little pre-draft homework, but very minimal compared to what the Commissoner, Iron Hand, will have to do to make this first PPD run smoothly. Remember, you set the value for the players you want by where you slot them.

The PPD is as easy as ABC

Using the PPD 2014 Form below, submit the players you want in order of position (Example:QB1)importance, or value to you, knowing all teams will be making these same type decisions and if someone else has the player at the same value, he will be struck and re-enterd in the talent pool for Draft Night. If not, he's yours!

Note: Pony Draft picks automatically make your roster and are slotted at the lowest position value (Example:QB3).

If a player you submit at a certain level is valued higher by another team, he will go to the other team. If the player is valued the same by any two teams, he will be struck and placed back in the talent pool for re-drafting on draft night.

On draft night you will draft to fill in all open draft slots from your original submission that were struck. The team with the fewest open slots will get the first pick and so forth with the others who have the fewest slots to fill and then the draft order will snake back to the first from the 16th.

Snooze you lose in the PPD

Failure to fill out the PPD 2014 Form by the deadline and submit your Original Submision for Draft Night could lead to your team being left out of the 2014 season. Worst that that would be coming to Draft Night with no players on your roster, other than your Pony pick, and having to fill-in all 15 slots at the end of the draft order when 75% of the players have already been taken. The league must have your PPD 2014 Form by the deadline to make this type draft work for all league members.
