The BDFL's Play-Off Rules according to Iron Hand

FOXBORO - The BDFL's Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS) is all about rewarding the league's best teams with a chance to advance to the Big Daddy Bowl and play for the league's title. Teams must have at least a 7-7 win/loss record to qualify for playoffs. Teams must win their division outright to automatically be assured of a playoff birth. There will be no automatic reward for a team that does not meet this criteria. If there is no outright clear division winner, the BDFL reserves the right to award a playoff position to another team regardless of their division based on their win-loss record and point total. The BDFL will not reward mediocrity by default. For details go to Iron Hand's page.

Shaun "Big Daddy" Rogers and the Detroit "D" came up big in Week 9 for the Benton Bullets

THE BIG STORY

Skynyrd said it best in '76, but it was the Rebels who earned 'em back in '07

MAGIC CITY - "Life is so strange when its changin', yes indeed.
Well I've seen the hard times and the pressure's been on me, but I keep on workin' like the workin' man do. And I've got my act together, gonna walk all over you." Written so well by Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins in the mid 70s, but lived out this weekend when the Benton Bullets, once given up for a trampled Matador, got up off the dirt to walk all over the new Mayor Lankford and his Cronies at Rickwood Field (site of a Skynyrd concert attended by the Mayor's cousin Steve Cohen in the mid 70s) on Sunday. Bullet left singing "Tell all those pencil pushers, better get out of my way."
